Students in Year 3-6 currently enrolled at Belair Primary School are eligible to play school basketball. Games are played at the Blackwood Rec Centre after school in terms 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Season
Basketball is played throughout the entire school year. The Blackwood Rec Centre is looking to start the season week 3 of Term 1 (Tuesday 11th February 2025.
Teams are capped at 8 or 9 players and a waiting list is established for interested play if wanting to register during the season.

Age Requirements 
Year 3-6

Fees 
There is a registration fee of $40 and court fees are $46 per week for each team.
An administration fee of $30 per child is payable once per calendar year. This covers all sports played.

Game/Training Information 
Games are played at the Blackwood Rec Centre after school. Game times range from 3.45pm start and are always finished by 6.00pm. Game Days for each year level:
Tuesday – Year 3
Wednesday – Year 4
Thursday – Year 5
Friday – Year 6
*as at last communication from the rec centre on Friday 13/12/24, please note the rec centre may still make adjustments to this timetable.

Training times are dependent on coach and gym availability and will be advised to teams.
